Testimonials and Reviews about the Art & World History Timeline Posters

I'm delighted to have finally found an art history visual as thorough and well done as this! I homeschool my kids who, during art and history lessons, are always asking when events or art pieces occurred in relation to something they are already familiar with. My taped-together 10' long timeline I created was taking up too much space and falling apart. Now all I have to do is refer to this timeline that will last a long time (I'm getting it laminated). It is concise, easy to read, and beautifully done. I highly recommend this to any teacher! Thank you Mrs. Nichols!

This is absolutely beautiful! I can't believe how amazing these hand drawn images are! My kids quickly recognized some famous pieces and were immediately curious about those that they didn't know! This is AMAZING! I can't believe how PERFECTLY this fits with our Classical Conversations - History sentences and Timeline! My kids will greatly benefit from having this visual to work on for their WHOLE career in education!
Best art history timeline I've found, yet.
I am a high school teacher and purchased this to hang in the room where I teach AP art history. I like it better than the other art history timelines I have. It is has many more works of art on it than any other timeline I've seen, as well as major historical events and other important historical tidbits from each period. I like the layout; it is easy to understand and includes works from many cultures, not just Western art. Students can clearly see the chronological relationship between multiple works of art from different cultures. I also like the vertical orientation of it; it is easier to find a place to hang it than a long horizontal timeline and easier to read and see the connections between the time periods.
Finally, the visual design of it is beautiful (which does NOT come across in the little thumbnail). Each work of art is depicted in a woodblock or scratch art (?) drawing, as are the decorative borders, etc. on an ivory background. It has almost a rustic look to it like an old map. I would hang this as a decoration in my home. Highly recommended. -By olddude June 4, 2015

We love it! It was shipped very well. We covered it in contact paper to preserve it, hung it on the wall, and use it every day for homeschool! We are adding dates as we study them with small sticky notes and tape.

My wife and I love it. It is beautiful
This poster is a work of art. It is 100% original by the seller. It is not some knock off or cut and paste generic timeline. My wife and I love it. It is beautiful! You can tell that detail, effort and attention was put into the creation of this timeline. Furthermore, it is informative and educational, so it looks great but the information is excellent. It covers the depth and breadth of art history from prehistoric through post modernity. It is comprehensive and covers world art not only western art. In the end, I highly recommend this poster either as an educational piece for a classroom or home or as a work of art or fittingly for both. It is a both visually and intellectually stimulating! Well worth it!

It's true to size and a neutral color so looks nice on our creamy walls
I bought this art history timeline to hang in the kids hallway to supplement the art history they're learning in school. It's true to size and a neutral color so looks nice on our creamy walls. I initially thought I was going to frame it, but being 5' high I thought that would be a lot of glass & require a really large frame, so rather I had it laminated in a matte finish and adhered it to the wall with mounting putty. The kids love it and I think they'll learn tidbits as they're walking by (or maybe even while brushing their teeth since it's directly outside their bathroom). This is so well done and worth the money.
